I'm Chris Broshears. I care about building great software products.
Chris Broshears's Bio:
Chris Broshears has spent his entire career working in the software industry, without leaving Indianapolis. After graduating from Butler University--where earned a 4.0 GPA and was named the outstanding Computer Science student in his graduating class--he spent one year of graduate study at Indiana University before taking a job at Software Artistry, where he worked initially in Technical Support. When the company was sold to IBM, Chris was given the opportunity to manage a Support team at the young age of 25, and to participate in the award-winning "Basic Blue" management training at IBM headquarters in Armonk, NY.
Later, when his business unit was acquired by Peregrine Systems, Chris managed a development team working on web applications for IT helpdesks. That led to a five-year tenure at T2 Systems, where he led the Web Development team, creating custom e-commerce applications for clients in the parking industry. In his most recent role, as Director of Product Development at Delivra, he transformed the email marketing company from a reseller of third-party software into an independent SaaS software company; Chris built and led Delivra's development team while also serving as the company's first product manager.
Chris married his high school sweetheart, Betty, and together they have two children. They reside in Greenwood, Indiana, where they are members of Mount Pleasant Christian Church, and are active in their homeschooling co-operative, Greenwood Home Educators.
